Make Your Own Anorak

Join our expert instructors during the course of this new two-day workshop for 2017! Create your own anorak out of modern, waterproof fabrics to wick moisture away and keep you warm all winter. The anoraks are designed to cover your thighs and to accommodate many layers underneath. Complete the anorak with a hood with an (optional) coyote fur ruff* to trap warm air inside the hood that creates a micro-climate in front of your face. Create a beautiful, durable and windproof outer layer- no sewing experience is required and all necessary materials are provided!

* Eastern Coyote pelts are used for the coyote fur ruff surrounding the hoods.  These are trapped in Canada and from a Canadian source. The fur industry in Canada is a highly regulated business and designed to be a sustainable practice. Traps and trapping rules are regulated to be as humane as possible with many older traps banned from use.
