Discover The Canadian Canoe Museum by bringing your group or organization for a guided tour. Listen to the stories behind the artifacts with a knowledgeable tour guide who can answer your questions, bring the exhibits to life and illuminate the role of the canoe in Canadian history.
A standard guided tour takes about an hour and a half. This can be customized if your group needs more or less time. During the tour you’ll see beautiful examples of canoes of many different construction types from across Canada. You’ll learn about how Canadian cultures have used canoes for subsistence, travel and fun through time right up to present-day. You’ll be shown objects and hear stories that you might have otherwise have missed on a normal walk-through visit!
Guided tours are available throughout the year and must be booked in advance. Plenty of free parking available year round. Buses are welcome.
