The Uncommon Marketplace is a family friendly public celebration of local artistic excellence. Artistic talent and craftsmanship from local not-for-profit organizations will be on display in the form of live demonstrations and hundreds of original, one of a kind handmade Artistic creations will be on exhibition and for sale!
At the Uncommon Marketplace you can expect to see demonstrations of woodturning, weaving, pottery, fibre arts, knitting, crocheting, paddle carving, pyrography (wood burning), painting, drawing and much more!
The event will also include programming for children aimed to encourage creativity and artistic expression, and most importantly have fun while they learn new things!
This unique event will be held at The Canadian Canoe Museum (910 Monaghan Road, Peterborough)
September 17th (10am – 5pm) and September 18th (Noon – 5pm), 2016.
Event admission is FREE! A donation to the museum is suggested in lieu of admission.
Artists and artisans from the following organizations will be at the event to share their unique knowledge, skills and techniques!
