Carve and craft a 24-inch paddle using the traditional tools! A great intro to paddle-carving that teaches many of the steps of full-size paddle-carving using a soft wood and a more accessible (i.e. quicker to complete) size.  Participants will explore paddle parts and unique paddles in our collection, but will spend most of the morning carving their own paddles with a spokeshave, and finishing it with sandpaper, to create a beautiful, smooth keepsake to treasure.

Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes for safety during the wood-working part of this workshop!
