How can I make donations to the museum?

Offers to donate artifacts are referred to the Collections Department. The donor is asked to complete an object information form and supply photographs of the item.  The offer is then considered by the Collections Committee.  The committee’s decision is based upon certain criteria such as how many similar artifacts already exist in the collection, physical condition of the object, the potential for exhibition, its history of use, relevance to the museum’s mission and costs associated with the acquisition.  The Collection Manager will then notify the donor of the committee’s decision.

If you are interested in making a donation contact Kim Watson, Collections Manger.
